Started in the evening at approximately 5:00 PM. Reached the summit in about an hour and a half. A well-shaded hike. Not too crowded. Bugs weren’t an issue. A gradual grade made the ascent very easy and manageable. Definitely considering returning and doing the 15+ mi hike starting from the Hicks Road parking lot.
