Wow. Was not expecting that kind of hardcore scrambling. Not too difficult, but it was a little sketch at times. Super fun and great views!
We started the hike at 6am when it was still dark and cool. The trail was not too crowded especially for a Saturday morning. There
Peak is in central Phoenix. Â A lot of first time hikers and weekend warriors. Â Weather was perfect with sunny skies and in high 60s. Â Steep
I hiked the Flatiron 2 years ago but forgot how tough it is. This is truly a route more than a trail.
Seniors should really think twice about tackling this mountain. Â Very precarious.
