Quartz Peak

Due to a late start this was an noon-afternoon hike rather than a morning hike.  There were however several other hikers on the trail. The

Trail looks like it’s not frequently traveled on – some overgrown bushes/flowers. There were a lot of flying bugs, spiders, and lizards along the trail.

Weather was beautiful!  Overcast with lots of wildflowers! Lots of rock climbing at the end. Hard downhill with slippery rocks. Overall amazing hike with amazing

Finally made it to Quartz Peak to complete my completionist 9th peak.  Had to borrow a vehicle to get there.  A high clearance vehicle worked

This was our 9th and final peak. We only saw 4 other people (all heading down as we were headed up). We had the mountain
