Quartz Peak

Phew!  Another one in the books!  I admit this one is a challenge for me.  A great 6+ mile workout.  Only saw three other people.

Great day for a hike! headed out early, 1:30 hours drive to the trailhead. part of the road is unpaved and it gets more sandy

This trail has serious elevation gain. From the start, it’s nearly continuous uphill. Gradual for the first third to half mile, the grade increases rapidly

Trail difficult to navigate at top. We’ll worth trek when you get to Peak. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!

A lot of uphill with switchbacks.

This hike & road is an adventure all around! I did this hike once previously about 5 years ago when I first did the Six-Pack
