Ok so the trail conditions were good. It’s maintained well. I wore a pair of flat soles sneakers. Now it is a climb or I could say get your stair-stepper out for this one. The weather was pleasant! I brought a hoodie but it was not needed. But gave me a sense of comfort. I started at 5:30 am, still dark out. I didn’t bring a light but my eyes easily adjusted. The climb was tough but just take it easy. You can do it!! The trail wasn’t too heavy. Mostly people trail running! Good for them not me lol. It was gorgeous though. The night sky hitting the rocks making the grays amd shadows just pop out. I arrived at the peak about 6:15. Not a horrible pace. Stopped to take some photos. I’ll attach some but I can only attach 6. When I got to the peak I just kind of meditated a little and watch the hue of the horizon change colors. Just before sunrise bees started magically appearing. They were no threat and I was in their space so just sent good vibes after the initial startle. I’ll guess in the hundreds. They just floated there though. Even as close to a couple feet in front of me. It was awakening and peaceful. Just as ol’ red popped up they began one by one leaving. I think they were there for the sunrise as well. It was a beautiful journey and I hope y’all get the experience as well!
