Beautiful cool desert day for this local hit hike. Done this many times before, first time here with my husband – hiking is not his preferred activity but he came along for me, since it's my passion. To make it clear, he has fear of height, not just a tall building or bridge, but also with cliffs and crevices and such – and go figure, I come from Switzerland.
Very busy on weekends, strenuous only for the stairs, it's more a stairmaster then a hike. Super fun still with these slates of dark rocks and the 360 views on the summit are priceless.
Would love to do this one but combine maybe with a perimeter hike there to add some mileage.
