It was a calm and quiet hike for Winter Solstice in stark contrast to Winter Solstice last year with the rare planets aligned and large groups of chatty people. This year there were far less people, mostly solo hikers, and a cloud cover with still air that contributed to beautiful calm, peace, and quiet. Beautiful winter solstice hike!
