I coulda slept in today…but I didn’t. Despite being the coldest day of the year, my hiking partner-also my big Sista-took the day of to hike this mountain. At first glance…easy peasy. And the first 1/2 mile was pretty smooth…the rest was…quite a hike! Big Sis and I made it to the top in about 1+30. Celebrated with a quick snack and look around the valley while sizing up our next challenge of the day-Camelback Mountain. Thanks to whoever put up the Christmas tree! Enjoyed the trek back down the same way with some warmer temps for just a bit, then the chilly breeze reminded us that it was December lol! Off we go to Camelback!
