Having just finished Piestewa Peak 30 min earlier, we were pumped to tackle this beast. Again, smooth hiking at the beginning but it wasn’t until about 1/2 mile in that we began to rethink this idea. Nevertheless, we high-stepped, crevice crawled, shimmied and  buddy-dragged each other over the ascending miles of boulders, finally reaching the top! Once again we posed with the thoughtfully placed Christmas tree before we sat to enjoy the incredibly expansive views and shared some snacks with the locals. The descent was equally challenging as we mastered the butt-sliding and Boulder-tumbling until there was nothing left… literally our only thought was coffee! Two Sisters-7 hours, 2 peaks, 1 day & a lotta bad-assery!
