On our midday hike to Wasson Peak, under the warm rays of the desert sun, we embarked on a challenging yet rewarding journey. The warm weather and rocky terrain tested our endurance as we trekked through the exposed trail. The landscape was adorned with a plethora of majestic Saguaro cacti and blooming poppies, adding a touch of vibrant beauty to the rugged surroundings. Despite the ascent not being steep, the consistent climb required determination and stamina. As we reached higher elevations, the snow-capped Catalina Mountains provided a breathtaking contrast to the desert scenery. The fact that Wasson Peak was our second peak of the day added an extra layer of challenge, making the accomplishment even more gratifying.
Blue Skies!
