So let's start with the trail conditions. Trail is in excellent condition. No ice left on the trail. Bees and flies are out. And it's getting hot out there. Luckily the heat wave is over, but we still needed lots of water.

Now on to the naked and afraid part. There was somebody that was hiking totally naked today. He had some shoes, and that was it. Sherrifs flew by for a few minutes, but all he did was raise his hands with shoes in hand and kept walking. This was around the switchbacks near the spring at 2 1/2 mile. We just walked by him when he was sitting on the trail. And last we saw of him was when he was a few switchbacks above us. So not sure if he got off the mountain or is still wandering the trails. I guess sheffifs and forest Rangers were in the parking lot for a little while, but by the time we got there there was nobody around. And we didn't see any leo going up the trail.

  1. We were there. We were sitting at the saddle & he stopped in front of us screaming..we saw him again & he was sitting way up high pass Kelly Camp…Hope he’s ok very sad sight

    1. We must have just missed him, because we didn’t see him on the way up to Ontario, only on our way down by the switchbacks. I wonder if that lone tent that was still at Kelly Camp is his. I know there was a lot of people camping there last night. But all but one remains.

  2. If it’s the same guy, he was on Wilson last week.🤣🤣🤣 Dude on here by the name of “Ryan”
