⛰️ Mt Baldy Peak with a Pup

6th and final peak of the Six Pack of Peak (with a Pup) challenge! What an awesome way to escape the heat by climbing as high as possible within the Los Angeles county limits 😆 Garrett joined me for this final peak so the whole family was there 🥰

We arrived around 5:45am, and started around 6am, and I’m SO glad we did. Hiking while the sun is rising is sublime, the weather was crisp and cool while we climbed. We went up the ski hut trail for this hike, and went down the Devil’s Backbone so we could refuel and treat ourselves to a basket of fries and some cold drinks at the Notch restaurant. Inari crushed it, she seemed so unphased climbing up 4000ft at high altitude, I’m so indescribably proud of my little adventure buddy 🥹 Now that we accomplished this training milestone, I’m so excited for what adventures are to come. What a spectacular day!!
