Easy day today! Completed peak #11, Santiago Peak, of the SoCal Six Pack of Peaks (18 peaks) Challenge. 9.57 miles with just under 1500’ in elevation gain. We were up and down (including breaks) in 4 hours 18 minutes.

Twelve of us met at the Maple Springs Trailhead at about 0530. We took three vehicles up the Maple Springs Truck Trail to the North Main Divide Road. From there we hiked about 4.75 miles to the summit of Santiago Peak. The weather was perfect today. Clear skies and a light breeze with moderate temps.
