12/21/25 Mount Baldy via Register Ridge

12/21/25 We decided to start later than usual and enjoy the nice hike, no rushing. We caught the most spectacular sunset as we took that last turn after the waterfall towards the end. Very little snow on trail, a fair amount of other hikers. We knew of high winds at the summit so we saved our meal for the finish and used the picnic tables at the trailhead for all 6 of us to sit around and eat together. That was a really nice way to end the day!
