Started our hike at 6am from the closest parking lot. Took multiple breaks to eat and enjoy the scenery and summited by 11:30am. I would

Early start, 6:30am. Took me 2:20 to summit……not a quick hiker but enjoyed the sights! Nice cool morning and mostly shade into the first canyon.

Lots of trees and vegetation on this trail. Helped with the intense sun. Nice to have water available at the top to refill our bottles
