Lots of flies at the top, 1 snowfield was a little difficult, had to dig in and use poles. Views were not as great as
Day was heading for 98* so departed lower trailhead at 5:00 am. Â Only saw one small group heading down as I was summiting. Â Stayed on
We camped at East Davis Lake camp ground. Beautiful view of Maiden peak and easy access to Odell creek for great post hike soaking. Started
Took time to find hidden trail road… be sure to watch for little gate on corner. Parking area covered in weeds so recommend AWD to
