Day was heading for 98* so departed lower trailhead at 5:00 am.  Only saw one small group heading down as I was summiting.  Stayed on

Our first peak of the challenge! Well maintained dirt path – lots of dogs and trail runners enjoying the sunny day and beautiful views!

Beautiful morning for a hike! Felt like our heads were in the clouds!!  Flowers in bloom.
