Can’t see the peak through the fog …
It was a nice cool morning, but after gaining about 400 feet, the fog settled into the hills. So the view was mostly the trail.

Great hike, and what a challenge. Very beautiful and pleasant all day, where the afternoon return was warmer than expected in the mostly exposed trail
