#4 of 6: Rose Peak, 20.0 miles (4,501′ ascent)

Slogged thru this with 9 mates (Great Hikes Plus One – meetup.com), followed by well-deserved beers and bites at La Casita in nearby Fremont, CA.

Started at 8am & finished at 6pm.   20.0 miles with 4,501 feet of ascent.   Sunol had been closed through 10/31 because of nearby NoCal fires, smoke, wind, etc., so we were very lucky to have snuck this one in before end of Daylight Savings Time.  For once, not foggy.  Instead, sunny, but not too hot.   My feet feel like hamburger today(morning after this hike).   Grateful to have checked this one off the list.
