Rose Peak Quads Buster

Probably the toughest hike of all the peaks, mainly due to the distance involved – approx. 20 miles! A group of 10 started at 8 am and ended the hike at 6 pm. It was a clear day. However, the trail itself is not that pretty because it goes through parched landscape. I can’t imagine hiking this during the Summer months. We saw Mt. Diablo and the Lick Mill Observatory from peak. We were all relieved when we got back to the parking lot.
