We started the hike around 7:30 a.m. from the trailhead near the parking garage. There is no slow warm-up to the incline .. starts immediately.
A late start to the season
Good weather, very foggy and cloudy. No views of LA from the top but we got some pictures above the clouds

So excited about our first peak! Arrived at Chantry Flats around 6:30 – no problems with parking. We used a combination of AllTrails and Hikingguy.com

We arrived at the trail head at 7:30am and saw plenty of parking, which is a very nice contrast to parking at the Chantry Flats
