A Chilly San Jacinto Breeze
A gorgeous day with no snow! The beginning was a warm start, but by sunset the 30 degree winds made for a chilly moonlit descent.
Cucamonga Peak
One of the best likes I’ve ever been on. It was very well-maintained the air was very cool and so I had no issues. Hiking
Mt Wilson
This trail was more enjoyable than the previous year I had done it, but still a long slog and hot, even though we're so late
Black Mountain (6/6)
The Black Mountain trail was great and was very easy. The weather was perfect when we went, and we had fun. We had to climb
Sitton Peak
Started at 6:19 and finished at 12:29. Last .30 mile to the top was steep, but other than that it was a good hike.
Hot Springs Mountain Trail
Straightforward but enjoyable trail. Harder during the first half than during the second half. I actually prefer this since it's easier to go all out
Closing with Potato Chip
Warm November day with a pop of Fall colors as we started from Lake Poway — clear day with nice views along the way.
High Point – what a view!
Excellent parking lot and very well marked trail. First 2 miles were narrow standard mountain trail, similar to El Cajon mountain or other east county
Black Mountain
Really nice, albeit challenging, hike with a lot of veritcal. Trail is smooth and non-technical, though, and in great condition. Perfect weather, warm but not
