A Cold Day on Volcan

This was a shake down hike for my new backpacking backpack which I bought so I could do more multi-day hikes in the snow.  There was about 12 inches of snow on the trail, and it was foggy and snowy, so trail-finding near the top was a little challenging.  I got to practice putting on and taking off my hard shell pants over my boots, and using my microspikes.  It was a great solo snow hike!
