3rd peak. The drive to the TH has an amazing view between the cities and the mountain range.

Another long hike and this one was a hard one specially with my bad knee. I would say about 70% of it was either going down or up and it was steep. I usually don’t use a trekking pole but not this time. We did a clockwise loop and I think is better than going the other way. The thing that amused me was the hundreds of acorns securely and uniformly embedded in a tree trunk. So, I googled it right away when we got back to our hotel and found out about Acorn Woodpeckers.

    Great job! Sorry about your knee, I could see this one being tough with a lot of steep ups and downs. That acorn tree is super cool, thanks for sharing ?
