Alone on the Summit – just start early

Trailhead Angelus Oaks

Alarm 3 am. Depart 3:30 am. Hike start 5:25 am. Summit 9:30 am – alone on the summit. Passed over 150 people on the way down – total shit show. Moral: start early, have the trail to yourself and cool weather – avoid “trail Disneyland”.

    And of the 150 people, only four hike logs have been posted for San Bernardino on that day. Hmmm… 😉
