Back to the trail after a hiatus

After a long hiatus, I hiked up to Strawberry Peak on a beautiful Sunday morning.  I started slowly.  There weren’t that many hikers on the trail when I started.  I missed hiking here, and I took a lot of photos.  When I reached Strawberry Peak, I saw the Mango Hikers.  They were very friendly and gave me a fresh strawberry.  It was so delicious.  Next, they offered me to take my summit photos.  I thanked them for their hospitality and generosity.  As I descended, I ran into many fathers hiking with their sons up to Strawberry Peak.  I wished each father I passed by a happy Father’s Day.

It was such a fun hike.  Since I a long hiking hiatus, I slowly paced myself.  Woohoo!  I did it!
