Baldy via Ski Hut / Devil’

Last September my hiking group helped push me up to the summit via the Old Baldy trail when I thought it wouldn’t ever be possible.  This time it felt great to be pushing toward new heights with this team again, and by a relatively simpler and easier route.  This hike occurred back in May when trails started to open up again.  The hikers we encountered were super respectful of social distancing although masks weren’t always evident.  Hike with an engaging group, as they will take your mind off the effort with good conversation, and next thing you know you’re at the top!  Baldy is and continues to be a personal favorite
