Baldy via the Notch
Also on this hike
This was an early summer hike up to Mt. Baldy. We did the hike counter-clockwise, first up to Baldy Notch then across the Devil’s Backbone and a slog up to the top. This hike was much more difficult than I had thought it would be. But I’m very proud for having completed it! There was one tiny patch of snow left near the summit, which I snapped a pic of. After the steep descent via the bowl, we did a little detour to check out San Antonio Falls. We would have dipped our feet in to cool off, but there was an “influencer” filming something and being incredibly loud.
