Get there early!

Got a bright early start to the hike.  Got to the parking area at 5:30 AM and that was almost not early enough.   By 5:45 people were parking up towards the ski lifts.  When I came down, cars were parked all the way to the entrance of the lodge parking lot.  And on the way down the mountain, it looked like the same situation at Cucamonga/Ontario.  So if you plan on hiking, get there early.  Lot’s of people on the trail.

Trail was in great condition.  A few bugs, but not too bad.  Stream by the ski hut was still flowing.  It was cool going up until you got to the bowl.  Then it was exposed all the way up to the peak.  No real cover on the way down via the lodge.  Weather temp in the car when I got back was 85 degrees.
