Great hike! Hiked bear mountain May 18 last year. Bit warmer and more bugs but still beautiful and just as challenging.

Departed Peoria at 5:30a.. arrived at the trailhead at 7:10.. started hike at 7:15. Summited at 8:30 and spent a good hour up there taking it all in. Great weather.. sunny and a slight breeze. Wrapped up the hike at 10:30 and headed home.

Along the way I offered to a couple to take their picture for them on a rock I saw them standing on. In return they took mine! Kindness, life, beauty.. it surrounds us.
