Beating the snow – busy day on Baldy

The forecast was showing an approaching Bomb Cyclone so I wanted to get this in before the snow came.  Apparently many others had the same idea as the trail was as busy as I’ve ever seen it.  I believe there was a “poles” challenge as well (people trying for multiple peaks in a day).

I went up and down the backbone as I am nursing a minor foot issue and wanted the less-rocky route.  Conditions were ideal, except a little windy at times, and a lot windy on the peak itself.  But gorgeous views!  Baldy is the best.
