    Well @srobles09, if you look at your hike log, you’ll see why a photo is pretty much required. 🙂

    Seriously though, there are several reasons we ask you to share at least one photo from your hike. First, it helps verify your hike. Second, it can provide useful beta for others interested in hiking the same mountain soon after you. And finally, it makes it way more interesting to look at your hike log.
