Black Crater

Started at 9:00am on Sunday. 3 cars in the parking lot. Saw 2 groups headed down then had the trail and summit to myself. Lovely but a bit hazy at the top. Lots of butterflies. and some nice wildflowers. I saw a lot of people headed up as I was going down. Many without adequate water – bring at least 2 liters. I saw group of Six Packers headed up when I reached the trailhead. Always nice to see us out and about “in the wild”. Hope you guys had a great climb too.
