This was definitely the hardest of the six peaks of my San Diego challenge and my least favorite…13 miles with the first half straight climbing at a 3500+ incline! Quite a leg workout. Coming down that steep wasn’t a walk in the park, either. The scenery was ok, walking halfway on a fire road wasn’t my idea of “hiking”. I can say at the end of it all I felt a great sense of accomplishment with completing the 6 pack of peaks 2020, there were a lot of obstacles this year. Hopefully 2021 will lead to bigger and better things.
