I’ve done this hike on super clear days and the views can be amazing! This time, it was super cold and windy, but I really wanted to bag a Peak on my birthday!
If you want to find the geological survey marker, it’s under the smaller of the two towers.
Map My Hike logged us in at 14.5 miles with 3,224’ eg.

    Great job, Amy Sue! Good to know about the survey marker.
    When I tracked this with GaiaGPS, I got 13.3 miles and 2,900′ of elevation gain. But close enough. 😉
