Beautiful,day for a quick hike up Black Butte, my second peak for the challenge. Carpooled with zany friend Ben and we’re the second car to reach the trailhead a few minutes after 8am.

Perfect temps for hiking. No snow. Made it up and back down in two hours.

Lots of hikers going up as we made our way back down, and the parking area was almost full.
