Cause it’s Father’s Day

I kept going back and forth on what to do for Father’s Day and at around midnight the night before I decided to do the 15mi hike from Hicks road to Mt Umunhum. I always see the peak on my daily commute and had it on my list of hikes for quite a while, so I took off. I tried to move quickly to get back and enjoy the rest of the day on the couch. Randomly (or maybe not so random) I hear the leader of the hiking group I recently joined doing a historic hike with a group of around 20. Definitely the last thing I expected to see. Probably should have checked their event calendar but I joined them for the last part before the summit. After taking a picture at the top with them, I hurried back down to get pizza and beer, and a enjoy getting spoiled for father’s day.
