Not the most exciting mountain to hike especially if you’re looking for dramatic snow covered mountains like the cascades but it is a nice change of scenery. Definitely worth checking out the Painted Hills and Tiger Town brewing if in this area.

    I hiked Sutton twice this year, first in February and then again in April. Both times the local ranch dog “Patch 2.0” tagged along to the summit. Both times, stopped at Tiger City Brewing for lunch afterwards.

    What I like about Sutton is that it gives you another excuse to visit the Painted Hills and Mitchell, AND has a much longer hiking season.
