We all met up at 5:30am to an already full parking lot. Daylight was just coming up at 6am when we stepped foot on trail so we didn’t necessarily need headlamps. We had nice shade 3/4 of the way to the summit. Being a Saturday, we passed a hand full of people on trail, and once we reached the peak we met up with a dozen or so waiting for pics with the summit signs. Had a nice lunch in the shade and headed back down. It’s a beautiful trail with stunning views and several changes in landscape to make it interesting, and so enjoyable!
