It seems that we are making it an annual tradition to kick off 6PoP with this trail. This hike comes with new hikers introduced in our small group as well.
It was very overcast from the start and heavy mist as we got closer to the summit. With the possibility of rain anytime, we didn’t stay long after the obligatory photo-op. It was also very cold and no view to enjoy.
It was very energizing and fun going back after the agonizing and never ending uphill lol.
We didn’t meet anyone from the summit but halfway back to parking lot, we encountered 2 big groups heading up. I supposed the weather deterred people not to hike today.

I was also up there 1/3/26 took a photo with your sign 4:50pm. Thanks for making it and hauling it up. Drizzling and windy at the top.
Thanks. I would like to take credit for it but someone else’s brought it up. I’m just glad there is still a sign and hopefully will stay there longer.
