Double Dose – Peaks 2 & 3 of the Challenge

After completing Hazard Peak, Laural and I headed over to knock out Oats Peak for our second peak of the day. We started out just before 11am and finished 3 hours and 17 minutes later. There was still a pretty good marine layer when we began, but it eventually burned off providing us with some great views. The trail was a bit busier in the late afternoon. Lots of hikers and bikers along the trail. We finished this hike with 6.68 miles and 1,585 feet in elevation gain.
