Its about 6 miles dirt road (a little rough in some areas) to get to the trailhead parking lot.  The trailhead is not marked, but it does start right of the map. It’s a single track trail alternating between smooth and rocky. At mile 4  you come to a field where the cabin is. Then you have a 1/2 mile of up/rocky/switchbacks. When you get to the top there is no marker at the lookout either.  It was a beautiful day and the leaves  are starting to change colors.
