This weekend was H-O-T!! So what is a girl to do? Go hiking, because Mother Nature keeps it cold at the summit ????????♀️
I think of the 7 peaks I have hiked so far, this one is just gorgeous. I wanted to peak from Idyllwild, but there are still some issues with the road .. and I did not feel like driving around them ????.
The trail is in good condition, and I even wore shorts; and guess what, no scratches or even bug bites. I kind of left my group behind .. ????, but one of them was feeling ill and I didn’t want to stop my momentum. Kind of selfish, but after hiking San Gorgonio on Friday .. I knew my adrenaline was going to run out at some point. The last stretch of the trail was a little sketchy for me because of all of the boulders ???? .. but I am sure a taller person would be just fine LOL.
I definitely appreciated the shade on the trail and the cold wind ????!!
Can’t wait to summit again ????????♀️
