Fremont Saddle, plus some

We arrived from San Diego to the trailhead at 10:30 a.m. Trail was easy to find and after just over an hour we reached the Saddle but, because our apps (both Gaia and AllTrails) indicated we had further to go, continue down the backside of the Saddle towards what would lead us to the base of Weavers Needle. We happened upon two groups of hikers that assured us we were just getting extra credit, and had indeed made it to the Saddle already, before turning heel and heading back up over the Saddle and down. Round trip 3 hours.
