First time taking the Fry-Koegel Mt. Woodson loop, and loved it! Almost no one else was on the trail (which is crazy if you’re used to getting to the peak from the fire road or lake Poway).
It was a nice, chill hike up through the trail, and then we jogged down the fire road. Didn’t want to bother waiting in line to take a pic on the rock, so we just took some next to it.
Saw a lot of cool mushrooms on the trail which I put on iNaturalist (@ahammond). Overall great day!
