Wildflowers blooming

Got to the trailhead about 7:20 am to beat the heat. Dusty trail through the burnout but encouraging to see some growth and wildflowers blooming. Humbling reminder of the destructive nature of wildfires. Flies were only a bit of a nuisance at the very tip top of the crater/trail.  Mostly clear skies with some haze from Bruler wildfire or the contained Warms Springs blaze. Friendly faces of a few fellow hikers.  Lovely day!
