Nice 3 1/2 hour up-and-back, super tranquil forest jaunt, not too crowded. Very dry-only a few trickling streams. War memorial and Bascom Lodge were welcome rewards at the summit. A few cheerfully tired AT hikers at the top. Really nice 360 view. Will try the more challenging trail next time!
