Ice cream at Summit

This trail was recommended to me by a fellow Hiker was also doing the six pack of peaks. I have to say that this hike was one of my favorites. The summit, though hazy, was beautiful and the lodge was gorgeous. And as I stated in my title there is indeed ice cream. I read through some reviews and I thought sure there’s ice cream but there is indeed a few different types of ice cream up there there is also a full menu that you can get at the lodge. Back to the trail, lol. There was construction being done so we had to work our way around the construction in on the first part however the gentleman for very nice. The beginning portion of the trail was a rocky road which was fine and it is steep. We took our time getting up to the top taking several breaks as the steepness grew. The trail does have a cute little pond. The scenery was beautiful and there is an interesting tree that I took a picture of that some people see a hippo and some people see your persons face.
