Half a Run

This was a planned trip with my child before heading off to camp. However, they were feeling a bit under the weather and only made it to the Old Half Way House Site. I proceeded to run from there to the summit and back on my own. Beautiful hazy day, couldn’t see Boston, and it was certainly warm. I ended up drenched from the run and the summit was ruined by people up top with drones. All that said, Monadnock is still one of my favorites and I look forward to climbing it again this coming weekend.
