No stranger to Monadnock

Mt Monadnock was the one mountain that my family would hike most frequently, to day hikes, sunset hikes, and even sunrise hikes. Shockingly enough this time up was my quickest time come to notice, taking only 10 minutes over an hour to reach the peak and thats with my friend hiking in his basketball shoes. As seen in the pictures though the weather was not on our sides, thick overcast shielded us from the sun but only permitted a 20 yd view in each direction at the peak. Wet conditions made for a careful hike for my friend as he only lost his balance twice.
