Holy bugs Batman! If I could swear on this blog— I mean….. not enough bug spray in the world for the amount of flies and horse flies! Bring a bug net! I wore it most of the hike.
It was hot! Only 81-84 degrees but felt like 100 in the sun especially wearing the bug net.
Slight breeze at the top- and then on the way down. Moderate to difficult. Straight up then straight down. Partially fire road/off roading trail. We did see a rattlesnake- coiled- basking in the sun- keep your eyes peeled, we almost stepped on it.
Bring lots of fluids/water.
Pick a cooler day if ya can.
